Abstract

ABSTRACT The 2019-2020 coronavirus pandemic or commonly known as Covid-19, an abbreviation for coronavirus disease 2019. The coronavirus pandemic is an event of the spread of disease caused by a new type of coronavirus called SARS-CoV-2, which was originally called Novel Coronavirus 2019-2. nCov. From March 11 to May 16 2020, 4,434,653 cases of Covid-19 were reported from all over the world. The spread of the epidemic is spreading so quickly, in this case the role of information technology (IT) is very necessary. The main problem is the lack of information and data on the spread of Covid-19. Society needs to monitor the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. Based on existing problems, this research carried out system design using several APIs in JSON format. The data is in the form of total Covid-19 recap data in Indonesia, Covid-19 data per province in Indonesia and a list of existing hospital referrals. The data will be visualized in the form of a list on a Covid-19 monitoring system using the REST method and HTTP protocol using the PHP programming language for web and Android which can be accessed by the public, to be able to monitor the spread of Covid-19.
