Abstract
ABSTRACT In practice, the distribution of zakat fitrah often experiences difficulties, especially in terms of identifying the right recipients and ensuring that zakat actually reaches those who are entitled to receive it. Therefore, technology such as Android-based applications can facilitate this process. In this research the author proposes to create an Android-based zakat fitrah distribution application using a simple additive weighting method. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is a multi-criteria decision making technique that is used in various situations, including calculating zakat fitrah. The SAW method assigns weights to various criteria and uses those weights to calculate an overall score for each option. This application aims to reduce the risk of errors and misuse in the distribution of zakat fitrah and increase the efficiency of collecting and distributing zakat to those in need. By utilizing widely used Android technology, this application aims to increase accessibility and community participation in paying zakat fitrah as well as increasing the blessings of sharing during the month of Ramadan. Keywords: Zakat, Android, SAW, Application, Mobile.
