Abstract

The stigma that museums are shabby warehouses that are not interesting to visit is a classic problem that needs to be considered and fixed. The purpose of attention and improvement is that the paradigm of museums that were initially oriented towards objects has been changed to be oriented towards the public. So far, museums have been used by researchers to store objects from their findings and research, but researchers are still lacking in providing information that is interesting enough for the public. There are six aspects of revitalization, namely physical revitalization, management revitalization, network revitalization, program revitalization, policy revitalization, and image revitalization. The purpose of this study was to determine tourists' perceptions of the quality of the Sonobudoyo Museum Yogyakarta product after revitalization and to determine the factors that influence tourists' perceptions of the Sonobudoyo Museum Yogyakarta after revitalization. The research method used was a qualitative method to explore tourists' views on the quality of museum products after revitalization. In-depth interviews were conducted with a number of respondents to gain a deep understanding of tourists' perceptions. The results showed that tourists' perceptions of the quality of the Sonobudoyo Museum Yogyakarta product after revitalization were very positive. Factors that influence tourists' perceptions of the Sonobudoyo Museum Yogyakarta after revitalization include various aspects. This high satisfaction encourages tourists to recommend the museum to others, creating a sustainable positive effect for the Sonobudoyo Museum. Reading from two discussions and then associated with 6 aspects of revitalization. From the results of the research that have been presented, the following are aspects of revitalization that have been carried out by the Sonobudoyo Museum, namely physical revitalization, management revitalization, network revitalization, program revitalization, policy revitalization, and image revitalization.
