Abstract

ABSTRACT With advances in technology, business transaction management has undergone a significant transformation, especially in the culinary (F&B) business. To increase efficiency, it is necessary to adopt technology in recording sales. The cashier application can replace conventional methods that are prone to errors. This research develops a mobile-based Point of Sale (POS) application using REST API to support sales management and increase revenue. The method used is the waterfall SDLC model, including analysis, design, implementation and testing. The system was developed with a JavaScript-based react native framework, express.js, and nuxt.js. The result is an Android mobile-based sales application that makes it easier for cashiers to record and consumers to make transactions. Keywords: Application, Point Of Sale, Sales, REST API, Mobile.
