Abstract

ABSTRACT Canail Film Lab Yogyakarta is a business that operates in the field of services and providing needs for photographers using analog cameras located on Jl. Demangan Baru No.11, Demangan Baru, Caturtunggal, Depok District, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, 55281. The process of recording financial data reports at Canail Film Lab Yogyakarta still uses books so in this case it is very ineffective and inefficient in terms of time and energy , apart from that, the level of security and confidentiality is also very low because this can increase the risk of an information leak related to financial data caused by other parties or people who do not have the authority to access it. After the researchers understood this problem, this research was carried out with the aim of helping design an application system which could later be useful in helping secure financial data at Canail Film Lab Yogyakarta by making the financial data inaccessible, visible and easily understood by parties. or other people who do not have authority to access it using encryption techniques. In compiling this research, the researcher searched for and collected various kinds of data needed sourced from the research location/place using observation, interviews and literature study methods. The research results concluded that designing a cryptographic application to secure financial data using the AES and RC4 algorithms at Canail Film Lab Yogyakarta was the right solution to overcome the problems that occurred.
