Abstract

WEB-BASED VEHICLE RENTAL ADMINISTRATION INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: MTG Trans Yogyakarta) Diantini Kurniasanti, Afwan Anggara, S.Kom., M.Cs. Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : diantinik99@gmail.com, angga_afw@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT MTG Trans is a business that operates in the vehicle rental sector. The problem that occurs at MTG Trans is that the transaction process and report management are done manually. Uncontrolled data processing is slow due to frequent recording errors, frequent loss of data in ledgers and receipts, errors in transaction calculations, and slow reporting processes. Therefore, a website-based vehicle rental administration information system was created in order to optimize the vehicle rental process at MTG Trans. This research uses data collection methods by means of observation, interviews and documentation, while the system design modeling tool uses a structured model approach method using context diagrams, data flow diagrams, ERD and interface design tools. By designing a vehicle rental information system, it is hoped that it can help the admin or rental department in the vehicle rental and return process and make it easier for admins to make reports.
