Abstract

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A POPULATION ARCHIVES MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Atmaji Nugroho, Muhammad Zakariyah, S.Kom., M.Kom. Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta Email : ajinugroho15712gmail.com, muhammad.zakariyah@staff.uty.ac.id ABSTRACT The population archive management system is a key element in village government administration which functions to record, store and manage population data efficiently. At the Pacarmulyo Village office, the process of managing population archives is still done manually using ledgers, which often results in recording errors, data loss and archive damage. To overcome this problem and improve the quality of data management, it is necessary to develop a computer-based population records management system. This system aims to provide more accurate and valid data, as well as reduce errors and data losses that may occur. By using the waterfall method for system development, PHP as a programming language, and MySQL as a database server. To ensure the system functions properly, testing is carried out using black box testing. The test results show that the system is capable of carrying out all main functions in accordance with the specified specifications, providing accurate results and quality archive management services with a test success rate reaching 100%.
