Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF A WEB-BASED GOODS SALES INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: Toko Mugiyati, Seputih Raman District, Lampung) Riky Primastyo, Yuli Asriningtias, S.Kom., M.Kom. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta E-mail: riky.primastyo99@gmail.com yuli_asriningtias@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT Many small businesses in Indonesia still use manual sales systems which can result in various problems such as stock uncertainty, transaction recording errors, and lack of customer comfort. To improve efficiency and service quality, this research implemented a web-based sales information system at Toko Mugiyati, a basic food business established in 2003 in Central Lampung. This system was developed using the PHP programming language and Laravel framework and MySQL database. This system manages item data, item types, customers, customer details, and admin, and includes sales and purchase transactions, and produces incoming and outgoing goods reports. The implementation process includes designing an intuitive user interface and integrating critical functions that support daily store operations. It is hoped that this system will facilitate computerized transactions, help collect data on sales and purchases, check stock of goods, and create reports, thereby minimizing existing problems and increasing operational efficiency and the promotional reach of the Mugiyati Shop. Thus, this information system is expected to be able to provide significant benefits in supporting the growth and sustainability of the Mugiyati Shop business in the future.
