Abstract

WEBSITE-BASED TRAINING RECEPTION AND IMPLEMENTATION INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: BLPT Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta) Devano Sheva Rizkianto, Rodhiyah Mardhiyyah Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta Email : devanosheva@gmail.com, rodhiyah.office@gmail.com ABSTRACT BLPT Yogyakarta is one of the educational training centers that is still operating in Yogyakarta. BLPT is located at Jl. Kyai Mojo No. 70, Bener, Tegalrejo District, Yogyakarta City, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The information system for the acceptance and implementation of BLPT Yogyakarta training participants is still considered less than optimal and is still done manually. The accumulation of data on prospective new students which results in errors when inputting data is a big problem. The system for accepting training participants is one of the problems in BLPT because the number of risks of errors in data collection is still relatively large. The system that will be designed does not only include registration but also for the assessment system for training activities and assessment of training results, which will later become certificates. With the existence of a system for implementing training for prospective new participants based on the website, it will make it easier for prospective and also the admissions committee to register new participants and also when there are many prospective participants who register simultaneously. The data collected in this study are in the form of survey data, observations and interviews. The purpose of this study is to provide solutions to problems in acceptance related to registration and scheduling and implementation of prospective new participants through the website that will be designed. The method used to design this system is with Data Flow Diagram (DFD) to describe the data process flow, table relation design using localhost phpmyadmin, for program code using the code igniter framework and database connected to xampp. The result of this study is the design of an information system for implementing new participant training based on an online website to make it easier for prospective participants and guardians to register prospective participants at BLPT Yogyakarta without having to come directly to school and to make it easier for staff, admins and instructors to carry out their duties while in training.
