Abstract

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF WEB-BASED EMPLOYEE PAYROLL INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: Heuvel Tribe Office Yogyakarta) Muhammad Saddam Restu Lazuardi, Murti Retnowo, S.Kom., M.Cs. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : muhammad.saddam287@gmail.com, murti.retnowo@uty.ac.id, ABSTRACT Heuvel Tribe is the name of a clothing industry company that produces ready-to-wear clothing. The products produced by this company are ready-to-wear clothing such as hoodies, jackets, t-shirts, shirts, hats, beanies, bags, bracelets, belts, glasses, sandals, watches, and various other products. The implementation of the payroll system at Heuvel Tribe Office has several weaknesses, including manual attendance recording using amano/attendance cards. Therefore, data storage before being processed into salary data is less secure and the data is sometimes lost and damaged. Employee salary management at Heuvel Tribe Office still uses the Google Spreadsheet program, which allows for errors in data input. This problem is overcome by implementing an employee payroll information system that can provide information about attendance data and overtime data and can assist in the salary calculation process. The employee payroll information system that is analyzed and planned to be implemented is web-based with PHP and HTML programming languages. This study produced a document for designing an employee payroll information system at Heuvel Tribe which is expected to be implemented in the future. Keywords: Information System, Payroll, Web
