Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF EMPLOYEE ATTENDANCE SYSTEM AT DISTRO HEUVEL TRIBE OFFICE (Case Study: Heuvel Tribe Office, Sleman, DIY) Hanif Mahdi Farhan Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta E-mail : Hanifmahdi01@gmail.com ABSTRACT The rapid development of technology in various fields of human life, one of which is in the field of attendance. Attendance is the most important part of an agency or company, both in education, office, health, and government to support and monitor employee attendance every day. Heuvel Tribe Office is a company engaged in the clothing industry located at Jl. Dworowati Jl. Karangsari No.9, RT.5 / RW.35, Karangsari, Wedomartani, Kec. Ngemplak, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta 55584. Currently, the attendance process at Heuvel Tribe Office still uses a fingerspot or fingerprint machine. The use of fingerspot is considered less effective because if an employee's hands are wet or their fingerprints cannot be read due to injury, etc., then the employee cannot do attendance and there is a risk that this employee will be read as not going to work and also if the employee is late to the office, the time on the fingerspot can be changed. Seeing this, researchers designed a website-based attendance system that later employees can only access the website with a local network in the Heuvel Tribe area. Then in designing a website-based attendance system at the Heuvel Tribe Office, researchers used system modeling with Undefined Modeling Language (UML). Later, with the construction of this attendance system, Heuvel Tribe Office employees can more easily do attendance in every condition because it is website-based, and also reduce fraud against employees who are late because this attendance system can later only be accessed using a local network at the Heuvel Tribe Office, then in recapitulating the list of employees who are present, late, or absent is easier because it is stored in a database.
