Abstract

Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail : zahrulhidayat95@gmail.com, rodhiyah.office@gmail.com ABSTRACT SMKN 1 Tepus is one of the coastal vocational schools in Gunung Kidul Regency. SMKN 1 Tepus was established in 2008, at that time it already had 3 departments, namely; Automotive Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Office Administration. SMKN 1 Tepus organizes various fields, one of which is electronic engineering which has various facilities to support student academic activities where each facility is very much to fulfill all student practical activities, the recording system for borrowing practical facilities at SMKN 1 Tepus uses a handwritten method in the loan book so that it makes it difficult for managers (toolmen) if students borrow tools and there is a difference when returning the tools incompletely there is no clear system or record and finally the tool is lost and not returned. to deal with these things is by designing a web-based information system whose aim is that these problems can be resolved properly and improve good service in recording practical tools in electronic toolmen at SMKN 1 Tepus. The research method used in data collection is by interviewing, observation. The information system for borrowing practical tools was built to record borrowing and returning tools, the information system also has several features, including if the return of the tool does not match the loan, the return status will display the amount of the difference that has not been returned.
