Abstract
Report card processing at SMK Muhammadiyah Kalibawang is currently still done manually, which presents various challenges and problems. This manual process is prone to human error, takes a long time, and is inefficient. Difficulty in managing student data. In addition, the process of recapitulation and printing of report cards often takes a long time, and requires quite a lot of resources. This condition drives the urgent need for an information system that can automate report card processing, improve data accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility. The purpose of this study is to design and implement a report card processing information system at SMK Muhammadiyah Kalibawang. This system is expected to be able to overcome existing problems by providing faster, more accurate, and more accessible solutions. In designing this system, a system development method is used which involves several stages, namely needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The needs analysis stage is carried out to identify problems and user needs. Furthermore, the system design stage includes the creation of a system model that will be implemented. The implementation stage involves building software based on the design that has been made, while the testing stage is carried out to ensure the system functions properly and meets user needs. The results of the implementation of this information system show a significant increase in the process of processing report card grades. The system built allows input, processing, and storage of student grade data electronically, thereby reducing errors and time required compared to manual processes. With this system, the grade recapitulation process can be carried out more efficiently, and makes it easier for teachers to evaluate student achievement. The conclusion of this study is that the report card grade processing information system implemented at SMK Muhammadiyah Kalibawang has succeeded in overcoming the problem of manual grade processing. This system not only increases the efficiency and accuracy of data processing, but also provides easy access to information for all interested parties. The implementation of this information system is expected to be a model for other schools facing similar problems, as well as encouraging improvements in the quality of education management through the use of information technology.
