This research also applies the theory of phonetics by Peter Ladefoged and John Lyons, and the theory of phonology by Daniel Jones and Heinz J. Giegerich. This research shows that there are five phonological variations in Sambori language and Bima language include consonant variation, vowel variation, consonant omission, morpheme omission, and consonant addition. The dominant type of the phonological variation is consonant variation. Key words: phonological variation, Sambori language, Bima language, consonant, vowel
