Abstract

ABSTRACT Telemedicine is a form of remote healthcare service that requires technology to enhance access to and the quality of healthcare services. It has been selected as one of the strategies to accelerate the improvement of healthcare access and quality in Indonesia. This android-based telemedicine application is designed to improve health services for communities located far from healthcare facilities. The application allows users to interact with doctors through a chat medium and also provides health information in the form of articles. The results of this research indicate that the application can deliver health services to communities that are beyond the reach of healthcare facilities and facilitate consultations for individuals located outside the reach of medical professionals in seeking health solutions.
