Abstract
DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A FURNITURE SALES INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: Lana Jati Store, Jepara) Achmad Dairobbi Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology Yogyakarta Technology University Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta e-mail: dairobby1922@gmail.com ABSTRACT In developing an effective information system, it is essential to design user-friendly interfaces. Currently, Lana Jati Store promotes its products manually and is limited to certain areas, with customers ordering existing items through conventional methods. The researchers propose a system that markets products online and processes order data for improved efficiency. The website will be developed using Laravel, PHP, and MySQL, utilizing the waterfall development method and Data Flow Diagrams (DFD). This system aims to facilitate product sales and promotion while providing rapid updates on available items. Implementation has shown significant improvements in operations, ease of access to products for consumers, and potential increases in sales. Black box testing was successful at 100%, indicating that all system features function correctly. In conclusion, this web-based information system is effective in enhancing business performance and the competitiveness of Lana Jati Store in the furniture market. Keywords: web-based, black box testing, furniture, sales information system, waterfall
