Abstract
. IMPLEMENTATION OF A WEB-BASED LIBRARY INFORMATION SYSTEM AT SMK CIPTA KARYA PREMBUN, KEBUMEN Riki Setiawan, Rodhiyah Mardhiyyah Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor, Sleman, DI Yogyakarta E-mail: rikisetiawan249@gmail.com, rodhiyah@staff.uty.ac.id ABSTRACT The implementation of the library information system includes a maximum borrowing period of 7 days with an option for a one-time extension, as well as the application of late fees. The system developed is designed to facilitate library staff in monitoring books. It allows library personnel to supervise the maximum number of books that each member can borrow and automatically calculates fines if books are returned past the specified deadline. The results of the system testing using the User Acceptance Test (UAT) method show very positive outcomes with a score of 91.76%. Respondents indicated that the system is effective in meeting their operational needs, particularly in the process of monitoring library books. With this system in place, library staff find it easier to manage the available books. The conclusion of this research is that the system developed provides convenience for staff regarding book monitoring, including borrowing and the automatic generation of fines for late returns, thereby significantly enhancing library management.
