Abstract
IMPLEMENTATION OF A WEB-BASED STUDENT ADMISSION INFORMATION SYSTEM AT SD NEGERI 1 TENJOMAYA Tedi Hartoro, Adityo Permana Wibowo Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta E-mail: tedihh11@gmail.com, adityopw@staff.uty.ac.id ABSTRACT Computer technology has become a primary necessity for humans in obtaining information. SD Negeri 1 Tenjomaya is a public school located in Cirebon Regency, West Java. The admission process at SD Negeri 1 Tenjomaya still employs a conventional method, requiring students to fill out a complete personal information registration form along with specific requirements during registration. Students and their guardians must visit the school to complete the registration form. Once filled out, the forms are returned to the committee, leading to potential data congestion that can result in damage or loss of student registration forms. Furthermore, the committee must prepare a larger number of forms to minimize errors in the applicants' submissions. To address these issues, the research titled “Implementation of a Web-Based Student Admission Information System” aims to design and implement a web-based system to assist in the registration, selection, and data recording processes at SD Negeri 1 Tenjomaya. The research employs data collection methods, including observation and interviews. The results from system testing, conducted using 22 outlined testing scenarios, indicate that all scenarios are valid and executable, achieving a 100% success rate. From these results, it can be concluded that the system testing was successful, and the features function properly. This study is deemed feasible for implementation at SD Negeri 1 Tenjomaya, thereby facilitating the registration process and management of new student data in accordance with the designed system flow tailored to SD Negeri 1 Tenjomaya.
