Abstract
IMPLEMENTATION OF A WEB-BASED E-LEARNING INFORMATION SYSTEM AT SMA N 2 KOTA TEGAL Rama Aditiya Farel Saputra, Damar Prasetyo, Drs., M.Kom. Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta E-mail: ramaadityafarelsaputra@gmail.com, prassetyodmr@gmail.com ABSTRACT SMA Negeri 2 Tegal, located at Jalan Lumba-lumba, Tegal Sari, Tegal Barat District, Tegal City, Central Java 52111, currently conducts its teaching and learning processes through face-to-face meetings in the classroom during lesson hours. In these activities, teachers provide materials and assignments. When a teacher is absent, students only receive assignments from a substitute teacher, leading to a lack of direct engagement with the learning material. This situation results in teachers providing only brief explanations, making it difficult for students to fully comprehend the topics presented. The system has undergone black box scenario testing, with a total of 50 scenarios conducted, where 45 met expectations and 5 did not, yielding a functionality success rate of 90%. This research aims to develop and test the e-learning system. The trial results indicate that teachers can manage materials and assignments online, while students can learn and submit assignments. Regular monitoring will be crucial for the ongoing development of this system. Keywords: Implementation, testing, e-learning information system.
