Abstract

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF WORLD TEA INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (Case Study: World Tea) Arsenius Kusharyadi, Ahmad Tri Hidayat, S.Kom., M.Kom. Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta E-mail: arsenpranoto47@gmail.com, ahmad.tri.h@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT In the current era of information technology, the need for fast and efficient information is crucial for the smooth operation and decision-making within companies. World Tea, a beverage manufacturing company specializing in tea, faces challenges in managing inventory with a manual system that is less efficient. The use of Microsoft Excel and manual processes for shipping goods hampers operational effectiveness and the accuracy of inventory data. This report aims to design and develop a mobile-based inventory management system that can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of inventory record-keeping, reduce manual errors, and provide more accurate and accessible information. A mobile-based qualitative method is utilized in this project, which includes system design with a qualitative approach to understand user needs and program development using Flutter programming. In conclusion, the developed mobile application effectively addresses the issue of irregular record-keeping and supports better inventory management, thereby improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the company's operations.
