Abstract

WEB-BASED LEAVE APPLICATION INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: Communication, Informatics, and Encryption Office of Yogyakarta City) Wisnu Aji Pangestu, Afwan Anggara, S.Kom., M.Cs. Ring Road Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta E-mail: wisnuajipangestu2000@gmail.com, angga_afw@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT Various facts indicate that the leave application process, which still relies on manual management, can lead to a number of problems, including delays in leave applications, difficulties in monitoring leave status, and a high potential for administrative errors. Therefore, a web-based Leave Application Information System can provide a deeper understanding of these obstacles. This research aims to improve efficiency in leave management at the Communication, Informatics, and Encryption Office of Yogyakarta City. The web-based Leave Application Information System is designed to facilitate the processes of application, approval, and monitoring of leave, thereby reducing delays and potential errors that may occur in manual leave management. The development of the Web-Based Leave Application Information System employs the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method. The System Development Life Cycle is a structured framework used for planning, analyzing, creating, testing, and maintaining software systems. The results of testing conducted by the supervisors at the Communication, Informatics, and Encryption Office of Yogyakarta City indicate that the web-based Leave Application System, with 14 web pages and 63 scenarios, achieved a success rate of 100%. Thus, the system is deemed suitable for use. Keywords: Information System, Leave Application, Web.
