Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF A WEB-BASED EMPLOYEE ATTENDANCE INFORMATION SYSTEM APPLICATION (Case Study: CV Kutubuku Sahabat Anak) Daniswara Astri Wijanati, Iwan Hartadi Tri Untoro, S.T., M.Kom. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta Email: daniswara.mail@gmail.com, iwan_hartadi@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT Employee engagement is a crucial aspect of human resource management that affects productivity and organizational performance. This research aims to develop a Web-Based Employee Attendance Information System Application with camera and location features at CV Kutubuku Sahabat Anak, a company operating in the tourism sector. The study includes an in-depth analysis of existing punctuality management processes and the challenges faced by the business in accurately recording employee attendance. Additionally, this research involves designing a system that integrates web and database technologies to support employee attendance management and tracking. By implementing a web-based attendance recording system with camera and location features, businesses can optimize employee attendance recording, minimize the risk of errors, and provide employees with easier access to report their attendance. In addition to benefiting the business, this research also provides insights into how web technologies can be applied within the context of human resource management.
