Abstract

WEB-BASED ASSET INVENTORY MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR DRINKING WATER COMPANIES (Case Study: Depot Air Minum Isi Ulang RO & Mineral TIRTA JOSS Gemolong, Sragen) Ibnul Qoyyim Al Jauzi, Anna Dina Kalifia S.Kom., M.Cs. Ring Road Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta E-mail: hoonicron36@gmail.com, anna.dina.khalifia@staff.uty.ac.id ABSTRACT The current asset data management system at the Tirta Joss depot relies on a manual approach using the company's ledger. Asset data is recorded by writing down the existing assets in the company’s ledger. The small office space at the drinking water depot complicates data management due to the accumulation of paperwork. The ledger used for recording often leads to data duplication because staff forget to accurately record or verify manually written data. To address these issues, the authors propose the development of an information system that can record all asset bookkeeping processes in a computerized manner, thereby mitigating the problems associated with manual asset recording in the company ledger. Data input is not limited to simple recording but also includes reporting. This implementation utilizes PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. Based on the proposed solution to the aforementioned problems, the authors have produced an asset recording application that efficiently logs both incoming and outgoing assets. This application serves as a concrete solution for making record-keeping more efficient and time-saving. Through the testing conducted, the application achieved a 100% success rate and functions perfectly. Keywords: Information System, Asset Inventory, PHP Native, MySQL, Database
