Abstract

WEB-BASED ATTENDANCE INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: SMP Bhakti Mulya Wonosobo) Ahmad Fauzi Budiyanto, Afwan Anggara, S.Kom., M.Cs. Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta Email: ahmadfauzi282002@gmail.com, angga_afw@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT This study develops a web-based attendance information system for SMP Bhakti Mulya Wonosobo, aimed at addressing the inefficiency and inaccuracies often encountered in manual attendance recording. The system is designed to facilitate a faster, more accurate attendance process that can be easily accessed by teachers and school administrators. The research methodology includes user requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and functionality testing of the developed system. During the design process, emphasis was placed on creating a user-friendly interface and ensuring the system's ability to record student attendance automatically with high accuracy. The implementation results show that the system not only records student attendance in real-time but also simplifies the process of attendance data recap. Testing of the system confirms that all features function according to the required specifications, and the system operates smoothly within the school environment. In conclusion, this web-based attendance information system provides a solution to replace manual attendance methods. It enhances the school's operational efficiency and supports the school's efforts in providing better, integrated, technology-based education services. Keywords: Information System, Attendance, Web.
