Abstract

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF ARCHIVE INFORMATION SYSTEM AT SMP NEGERI 3 GODEAN YOGYAKARTA BASED ON WEB (Case Study: SMP Negeri 3 Godean) Ahmad Ahdan Musyafa, Ir. Agus Sujarwadi, S. Kom. M. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta E-mail: musyafaahmad125@gmail.com, agus.sujarwadi@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT The school currently lacks an information system that supports digital archive management, resulting in conventional and suboptimal handling of letter archives. This leads to inefficient recording and storage of letter archives, making them vulnerable to damage and loss, while also requiring significant physical space. The purpose of this system development is to facilitate the management of letter archives, assist in reporting letter archives, and serve as a foundation for enhancing archive management at SMP Negeri 3 Godean, Yogyakarta. The research methodology includes literature review, field studies through interviews with school personnel, problem analysis, system analysis, data collection, system design, database implementation, system implementation, and system testing. The results from black box testing with 41 scenarios achieved a success rate of 100%. This research results in the Design and Development of the Archive Information System at SMP Negeri 3 Godean to address the issues of conventional archiving through storage in cabinets.
