Abstract

AUDIT OF THE SIPKPTA INFORMATION SYSTEM USING THE COBIT 2019 FRAMEWORK (Case Study: Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta) Albertus Yohanes Natanael, Tri Widodo, ST., M.Kom. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta Email: albertusyohanes233@gmail.com, triwidodo@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT The implementation of information systems has become an integral component in various sectors, including education. At Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta (UTY), the Information System for Final Project Internship Applications (SIPKPTA) is a concrete example of information system application that supports academic business processes. SIPKPTA is designed to facilitate students in the process of applying for internships and final projects, as well as assist lecturers in the mentoring process. Although this system has significantly impacted the efficiency of data collection, processing, and administrative analysis, an evaluation of the system's maturity level has not been conducted. Therefore, an audit of IT governance is necessary to ensure that this system meets the standards expected by its users, both students and lecturers. This audit can be performed using the COBIT 2019 framework, focusing on the MEA (Monitor, Evaluate, and Assess) domain to measure and assess the maturity level of SIPKPTA. Regular evaluations are crucial to ensure the information system's alignment with technological developments and user needs.
