Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF A WEB-BASED INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR THE SUBMISSION AND MONITORING OF PRODUCTION AND OPERATIONAL ACTIVITY LETTERS (Case Study: PT. Troya Digital Mesail Yogyakarta) Rifky Al Ridhwan, Sutarman Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta Jl. Troya Digital is a company located in Yogyakarta that operates in the field of information technology. Through observation and interviews, issues related to the submission of funding letters affecting production and operational activities have been identified. Delays in the submission of funding letters have resulted in decreased production and hindered operational matters. These delays consume production time and operational needs due to both technical and non-technical problems, leading to wasted time. Based on these issues, the aim of this study is to build an information system that facilitates the effective submission and monitoring of funding letters for production and operational activities. The system is designed using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), a MySQL database, with wireframes as an interface reference, and programming language PHP with the Laravel framework. The methodology used in the design follows the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model with a Waterfall approach, and testing is conducted using the Black Box Method. The results show that the developed system can assist in managing production and operational activity letters by shortening the approval time for funding letters, thereby resolving the identified issues through an information systems approach.
