Abstract

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A WEB-BASED INVENTORY INFORMATION SYSTEM APPLICATION (Case Study: CV. Langkung Migunani, Bantul DIY) Galih Pramudhya Bayu Aji, Joko Aryanto, S.Kom., M.Kom. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta E-mail: galihpramudhyabayuaji16@gmail.com, joko.aryanto@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT Shrimp is one of Indonesia’s leading aquaculture commodities and is exported to various countries, including the United States, the European Union, Japan, and several Asian nations. The export of shrimp commodities, which generates foreign exchange for the country, includes frozen shrimp, fresh shrimp, and processed shrimp. Shrimp farming plays a vital role in meeting food and nutritional needs, catering to domestic and international markets, creating job opportunities, and improving community welfare. At CV. Langkung Migunani, the inventory or warehouse section frequently encounters human errors in recording and calculating the incoming and outgoing goods. Therefore, this research aims to design and develop a web-based inventory information system application. The inventory information system is crucial for managing and monitoring stock efficiently. To enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of inventory management, the use of web-based information technology is highly relevant. Keywords: Information System, Inventory, Web.
