Abstract

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A WEB-BASED WEDDING DECORATION ORDERING INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: Mimosart Flowerdeco, Purworejo) Abdul Aziz Alimuddin, Iwan Hartadi Tri Untoro, S.T., M.Kom. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta E-mail: abdulazizalimuddin360@gmail.com, iwan.hartadi@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT Mimosart Flowerdeco is a micro-scale MSME engaged in wedding and event decoration services, established in 2017 in Purworejo. Challenges arise due to high demand and difficulties faced by the admin in the decoration ordering process, particularly in sending images, themes, and decoration concepts to customers. The proposed solution is to design an ordering information system that can comprehensively manage decoration data and support the ordering process. The system design employs UML with a Waterfall development method. The developed system is capable of handling the ordering process through to transactions, as well as providing additional information related to decoration packages and custom decorations to customers. In conclusion, the system can display a catalog of decoration packages based on residential and venue types and can manage the ordering process. The system is also equipped with payment features, decoration package management, and custom decoration ordering. Black Box testing indicates that the system functions exceptionally well, achieving a success rate of 100% across 22 testing scenarios.
