Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF ANDROID-BASED INVENTORY DATA MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: Elektro Jogja) Agil Fahmi Raka Saputra, Iwan Hartadi Tri Untoro Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta E-mail: agilfahmirakasaputra073@gmail.com, iwan.hartadi@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT Elektro Jogja is a company engaged in the sale of electrical and electronic appliances commonly used as household tools. Although transaction recording at Elektro Jogja is web-based, the information system often experiences server configuration issues, necessitating manual transaction recording temporarily. Additionally, the process of recording transactions for the purchase and sale of goods does not include the identities of employees responsible for receiving and handing over items. The authors conducted data collection on how Elektro Jogja manages its data through observation and interviews with relevant parties. This study employs the Waterfall method as the software development methodology. In response to the identified issues, the authors decided to create an Android-based inventory data management information system. The result of this research is an information system that operates using a cloud server database and can record incoming and outgoing transactions automatically, including the branch where the transaction occurs and the responsible personnel, utilizing features developed by the authors.
