Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF A WEB-BASED TUITION FEE PAYMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: SMK Dirgantara Putra Bangsa) Diaz Mahendra Gumelar Ramadhan, Ikrimach Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: diazmahendra553@gmail.com, ikrimach@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT SMK Dirgantara Putra Bangsa is a private vocational school that currently handles tuition fee payments manually, requiring students to visit the finance department. A significant issue arises when students lose the payment receipt, leading to confusion regarding the outstanding payment obligations. This research employs several methods for data collection, including observation, interviews, and literature study. The business process is illustrated using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and the database design is represented through Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), implemented using MySQL. To address the identified problems, the researchers propose a solution by developing a web-based tuition fee payment information system utilizing a payment gateway method. The implementation of the web-based tuition fee payment system using Midtrans facilitates students in making payments and provides them with information regarding the tuition fees they are required to pay. The results of the implementation and testing, conducted through black-box testing, demonstrate that the system operates functionally. Keywords: Tuition Fee, Website, Midtrans, Payment
