Abstract

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A WEB-BASED STUDENT PAYMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: SD IT Jabal Nur, Ambarketawang, Gamping, Sleman, Yogyakarta) Muhammad Ridho Alviansyah, Iwan Hartadi Tri Untoro Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: alviansyahjogjakarta@gmail.com, iwan.hartadi@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT This study discusses the payment system for tuition fees, books, and re-enrollment at SDIT Jabal Nur, where staff currently record transactions using paper-based methods through a tuition income book, book payment records, and re-enrollment recaps. Observation and interview methods were used to analyze the existing system, which was found to facilitate the management of student payment transactions, including tuition fees, book payments, and re-enrollment fees. The research results indicate that the implementation of this system enhances the structured management of school funds and allows for more organized planning. Data security and the system's scalability were also identified as key factors in the successful implementation of this system. Designing this system provides a foundation for recommending further changes toward a more user-friendly, accurate, and integrated information system at SDIT Jabal Nur.
