Abstract

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEM OF A WEB-BASED INVENTORY CONTROL (Case Study: PT. IFRAME Solusi Multimedia, Sleman, D.I Yogyakarta) Rio Dwi Purnomo, Iwan Hartadi Tri Untoro Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta E-mail: riodwi159@gmail.com, iwan.hartadi@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT PT. IFRAME Solusi Multimedia relies solely on paper receipts for recording rental items. The primary issue encountered is the limitations of paper receipts in terms of accuracy and timeliness. Paper receipts are susceptible to human error during the recording process; additionally, they are often damaged or lost, leading to various problems such as inaccuracies in stock counting, incorrect item recording, or loss of critical information. The objective of this final project is to design and implement a web-based inventory control information system capable of managing item data, rental item data, transaction data, and transaction reports. Based on the testing conducted using the black box method, a total of 30 successful outcomes from 30 scenarios were achieved, indicating that the designed system is ready for use.
