Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF AN ACADEMIC INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR SYNCHRONIZATION OF STUDENT ACTIVITY DATA TO PDDIKTI (Case Study: STIE Pariwisata API Yogyakarta, Sleman) Choiruddin, Muhammad Zakariyah Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science & Technology Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyakarta Email: adiah96@gmail.com, muhammad.zakariyah@staff.uty.ac.id ABSTRACT The reporting of PDIIKTI data is a requirement for every campus, including data on student lecture activities referred to as AKM and student activities termed AM. AM encompasses activities beyond lecture attendance, including internships, field studies, independent campus internships, and final projects/theses. Given the substantial volume of data that needs to be reported, the data is consolidated within the academic information system (SIAKAD) for easier reporting. However, this process can burden the operator, especially when handling large quantities of data, necessitating an integrated data reporting system synchronized with PDDIKTI. This system is developed on top of existing systems, focusing on enhancing features for student activity reporting while incorporating data synchronization capabilities. Existing features include KRS (Course Registration Sheet), KHS (Academic Performance Index), and Transcripts, while the additional feature is the reporting of Student Activities (AM). The development method used is the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which facilitates swift system development since the focus is solely on feature enhancement. System design employs Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERD), with DFD illustrating the system flow and ERD depicting the database flow. The final outcome of this research is the implementation of a development system capable of recording all student activities and synchronizing this data with SIAKAD. Keywords: Student Activities, SIAKAD, PDDIKTI, Synchronization.
