Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there has been no previous research on the topic of human resources, especially regarding human resource development strategies and engagement with employee performance at PT. Mega Andalan Kalasan (MAK). On this basis, the researcher reasons that research on this topic is expected to provide an overview of the relationship or influence between development strategies and engagement on employee performance. This research aims to analyze human resource (HR) development strategies and engagement on employee performance at PT. Mega Andalan Kalasan (MAK). The research method used is a mixed method sequential exploratory type of research, where the initial stage is qualitative research and the second stage is quantitative research. A qualitative approach was carried out by collecting data and information using interviews and documentation. The informants in this research were leaders in HR-related divisions. The results of interviews and documentation collection obtained data that the company has and implements HR development strategies. The quantitative approach was carried out using a questionnaire to respondents. Respondents in this study were employees working at PT. Mega Andalan Kalasan (MAK) totaling 80 employees. The data analysis used was multiple linear regression. The quantitative approach was carried out using questionnaires for respondents. Respondents in this study were employees who worked at PT. Mega Andalan Kalasan (MAK) with 80 employees. The results of the analysis in this research show that human resource (HR) development strategies and engagement on employee performance at PT. Mega Andalan Kalasan (MAK) can be explained by 1) HR development strategies have a positive effect on employee performance, 2) engagement has a positive effect on employee performance, 3) simultaneously HR development strategies and engagement have a positive effect on employee performance.
