Abstract
This research aims to describe the wise behavior of the girl as the main character facing the problems of life in the war-torn country of Rafka which is at war. To find out all that the writer must read the novel Shadow and bone by Leigh Bardugo as a data source. The writer can interpret Alina's dialog and actions while matching them with the theory that the writer has read. The writer uses descriptive qualitative method because This research will only describe Alina's behavior in dealing with her life problems. of her life. The writer uses objective theory because the theory views the literary work as an independent object in the sense that it is independent of the interests of the writer and the reader, nor is it related to the circumstances surrounding it. The process of data analysis is to analyze the data collected from Alina's conversations and actions in the paragraphs in the novel which can then be the writer concludes or interprets as wise actions or behaviors. The writer found that Alina's actions that can be said to be wise behavior are influenced by five things, namely: Learning and Adaptibility, Decision Making, Self-Reflection, Empathy, Responsibility. Finally, the writer can find a message that an action can be said to be wise behavior if people have the knowledge and wise behavior if people have knowledge and are able to adapt as a result of a reflection on the ability to accept a reality of a reflection on the ability to accept a reality and finally dare to take risks or responsibility for a behavior. take the risk or responsibility for a behavior.
