Abstract

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF WEB-BASED CAR RENTAL AND TOUR PACKAGE INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: Shafeer Tour & Travel, Yogyakarta) M Fikri Ramadhika Haiqal, Adityo Permana Wibowo, S.Kom. M.Cs. Ringroad Utara Jombor Sleman Yogyartata Email: fikriramadhika578@gmail.com, adityopw@uty.ac.id ABSTRACT Shafeer Tour & Travel is a car rental and tour service provider company as well as a driver for both city and intercity. The previous booking process was done manually through direct visits or telephone, which caused data inconsistencies and limitations in reporting. To overcome this problem, a web-based information system was developed that utilizes PHP, MySQL, and the CodeIgniter framework. The result of this study is a web-based car rental and tour package information system that allows customers to view car and tour package information in real-time, make reservations, and complete transactions. For admins, this system provides features for managing rental data, tour packages, transactions, users, and creating structured reports. In addition, this system is also capable of creating transaction reports according to the desired date. Testing uses blackbox testing where the test case test scenarios that have been carried out are 21 tests, based on the results of the calculation of the test scenarios carried out, it produces a percentage of 100%.
