Abstract
IMPLEMENTATION OF BUILDING MATERIAL INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR WEB-BASED SALES REPORT OPTIMIZATION Fakhri Muntashir, Ahmad Tri Hidayat, S.Kom., M.Kom. Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology University of Technology Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta E-mail : fakhrimuntashir044@gmail.com ahmad.tri.h@uty.ac.id Abstract This implementation explains that the development of a sales information system begins with a comprehensive needs analysis and system design. Needs analysis aims to identify system needs, while system design provides an overview of the proposed system. Toko Bangunan Berkah, which is engaged in the sale of building materials, faces various problems related to sales, product purchases, and debt management. The proposed system aims to overcome these challenges by introducing automation into manual processes. This study focuses on the need for a sales and purchasing information system, with an emphasis on data processing and report generation to minimize input errors. Recording and storing data that is still done manually causes difficulties in searching for data and the accumulation of unorganized archives. By adopting information technology. The implementation of this information system has been proven to be able to speed up the transaction process, reduce recording errors, and provide better supervision of inventory. The proposed system aims to overcome these challenges by introducing automation into manual processes. The challenges of recording and storing sales and purchase data that are still manual cause the accumulation of unorganized archives and difficulties in searching for data. In conclusion, the information system developed can help data processing and the creation of sales and purchase reports, thereby increasing productivity and data accuracy at Toko Bangunan Berkah.
