Abstract

Access to legal services remains a significant challenge, particularly in areas with limited information and resources. This study develops a mobile application utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to facilitate real-time searches for the nearest Legal Aid Institution (LBH) based on the user’s location. The application offers information on accredited LBHs, features for map navigation, and direct communication with these institutions. Testing conducted through Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) demonstrates that the application enhances search efficiency and simplifies the process for individuals seeking legal assistance. The findings indicate that GIS technology in mobile applications is more flexible and effective than traditional desktop-based systems or WebGIS. Future research could focus on integrating this application with other systems and expanding the range of LBH data available. Keywords: Mobile Application, GIS, Legal Aid Institution, Location Search, Legal Accessibility.
