Abstract

Penerapan prinsip simbolik pada revitalisasi kawasan Stadion Gemilang Magelang menjadi Sport Center ini bertujuan membangun wadah olahraga bagi masyarakat Kabupaten Magelang. Sport Center yang akan dibangun mewadahi cabang olahraga bola basket,bola voli,futsal,bulutangkis,takraw,juga dilengkapi dengan fasilitas jogging track dan fitness room. Penerapan prinsip symbol pada desain sport center berupa transformasi bentuk Stupa Candi Borobudur dan gunungan pada wayang kulit yang diaplikasikan pada bagian atap dan landscape sport center. Hasil rancangan sport center ini tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek fungsional sebagai fasilitas olahraga, tetapi juga mempertimbangkan nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam desainnya. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan dua data yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dengan melakukan pengambilan data secara langsung pada lokasi, dengan cara survei lapangan. Data sekunder tidak berkaitan secara langsung dengan obyek perancangan tetapi sangat mendukung dalam perancangan. Dengan adanya sport center ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam berolahraga, sekaligus menjadi sarana pembinaan yang optimal untuk meningkatkan prestasi atlet Kabupaten Magelang di berbagai cabang olahraga. The application of symbolic architectural principles in revitalizing the Gemilang Stadium area in Magelang into a Sports Center aims to build a sports venue for the community in Magelang Regency. The Sports Center will accommodate various sports, such as basketball, volleyball, futsal, badminton, and sepak takraw (kick volleyball), equipped with a jogging track and fitness room. The principle of symbols in the design of the sports center is applied to the transformation of the form of the Borobudur Temple Stupa and the gunungan in the shadow puppet on the roof and landscape of the sports center. The design of this sports center not only focuses on the functional aspects of a sports facility but also considers local cultural values in the design. The data used consists of primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained by taking data directly at the location through a field survey. While secondary data is not directly related to the design object, it contributes to the design. This sports center is expected to increase public interest and participation in sports activities and become an optimal training facility to improve the achievements of athletes in various sports in Magelang Regency.
