Abstract

The mental health of college students is a significant concern due to its impact on academic performance, social relationships, and overall well-being. Factors such as academic pressure, social expectations, and personal challenges often lead to stress, anxiety, and depression. This study develops a mobile-based expert system designed to diagnose students’ mental health conditions quickly and efficiently. Data were collected through expert interviews and literature reviews related to the symptoms of mental disorders. The Certainty Factor (CF) method was employed to analyze symptoms with a specified confidence level. The diagnostic results accompany intervention recommendations, including professional consultation and lifestyle modifications. This system aims to empower students to take a more proactive approach to maintaining their mental health and contribute to advancing expert system technology in the mental health field.
