Abstract
Komunitas kesenian dan olahraga menjadi salah satu aspek penting di Kota Semarang untuk mendorong peningkatan kepedulian masyarakat akan budaya, kesenian dan olahraga, Oleh karena itu pemerintah Kota Semarang dalam rangka meningkatkan fasilitas olahraga dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap budaya lokal maka direncanakan pembangunan Community Center sebagai wadah untuk masyarakat meningkatkan minat terhadap budaya lokal dan juga olahraga. Dengan adanya perancangan ini di harapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat dan juga membantu pemerintah untuk meningkatkan minat terhadap budaya lokal dan fasilitas olahraga. Pendekatan yang diambil untuk bangungan ini menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur kontekstual, di harapkan dapat menciptakan Community Center yang selaras dengan lingkungan sekitar, penggunaan material lokal, merencanakan bangunan yang proporsional dan seimbang. The community of arts and sports is one of the essential aspects in Semarang City to encourage increased public awareness of culture, arts, and sports. Therefore, to improve sports facilities and public awareness of local culture, the Semarang City Government plans to build a community center as a place for the community to increase interest in local culture and sports. This design is expected to meet the needs of the community and help the government to increase interest in local culture and sports facilities. This development plan uses the contextual architectural approach, which is expected to create a community center that is in harmony with the surrounding environment, using local materials, and planning proportional and balanced buildings.
