Abstract

Financial management plays a crucial role in everyday life. Effective management can help individuals organize and control their spending. In the process of financial management, people need to prioritize their basic needs. However, many individuals often struggle to distinguish between primary, secondary, and additional needs, which can lead to the development of a consumer culture characterized by the habit of purchasing items that are not truly necessary. This study aims to design an application that assists users in managing their finances, featuring tools that limit spending when it exceeds the income balance or when non-essential expenditures surpass 20% of total income. This study emphasizes user-centered design (UCD), which focuses on addressing user needs regarding the application’s functionality. The findings indicate that users can effectively manage their financial income and expenses with this application.
