Abstract

ABSTRACT The conventional teacher payroll process at SMK Yabujah Segeran, Indramayu, often causes various obstacles, such as errors in inputting attendance data, inaccurate calculations of allowances and deductions, and late salary payments. This study aims to develop a web-based payroll information system to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in the school's financial administration process. The system is designed to calculate salaries digitally based on the components of basic salary, allowances, deductions, and teacher attendance data. The implementation results show that the system is able to solve problems that arise in conventional methods by providing convenience in managing, monitoring, and reporting payroll digitally. With the monthly and annual reporting features and independent access to view pay slips, this system supports digital transformation and increases teacher confidence in school financial management. The implementation of this system shows an increase in operational efficiency and a reduction in administrative errors. Keywords: Information system, teacher payroll, web-based.
