Abstract
ABSTRACT Muhammadiyah 3 Mlati Junior High School (SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Mlati) is an educational institution established in 1986 and located at Jl. Kebon Agung No. 88, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The school's tuition payment process is still conducted manually, using data recorded in a ledger. This can slow down transactions and lead to recording errors. Furthermore, parents or guardians lack direct access to billing information, schedules, and payment deadlines. This research aims to assist administrative staff in managing payment data and reporting, as well as simplifying information access for students and parents through the development of a web-based tuition payment billing system. The research methods used included observation, interviews, and literature review. This was followed by needs analysis, system design using DFD and ERD, implementation using PHP with the Laravel framework version 11, and testing using black-box testing. The results showed that the system met user needs, encompassing student data management, billing, payments, and reporting. This system has proven effective and feasible as a digital solution to support tuition payment management in schools. Keywords: Payment System, Tuition Fee, Web-Based
