Abstract
This study aims to develop an Android-based Point of Sales (POS) application for Komedi Cafe to address issues associated with manual sales systems, such as long queues, calculation errors, and inaccurate inventory tracking. The application features core modules for transaction management, stock control, and automated reporting. It is developed using Java in Android Studio for the frontend, Laravel for the backend, and MySQL as the database. The research methodology is qualitative descriptive, employing data collection through interviews, observation, and literature review. Based on implementation and testing results, the application effectively resolves the sales management challenges at Komedi Cafe. Notably, average customer wait times were reduced from three minutes to thirty seconds, improving efficiency by 80% and minimizing calculation errors by 90%. Inventory accuracy increased by 85% compared to manual methods. Additionally, automated reporting features accelerated report generation by 80%, enabling business owners to monitor sales more effectively. The user interface was carefully designed to enhance usability and simplify transaction tracking and report access. Black box testing confirmed that all features met the defined functional standards and operated as expected. Keywords: Mobile Application, Point of Sales, Efficiency, Android, Café
