Abstract
Optimal production planning is a critical factor in maintaining the balance between supply and demand. Imbalances in production can lead to overstock or shortages, potentially disrupting operational efficiency and reducing overall profitability. One of the main challenges in production planning lies in the fluctuating nature of demand, which requires an effective method to address decision-making under uncertainty and complexity. A suitable approach to this issue is the use of Fuzzy Logic—specifically the Tsukamoto method—which is well-suited for handling uncertainty and complexity in production decision processes. This study aims to develop a web-based system for optimizing packaged ice production using the Tsukamoto Fuzzy method. The system operates based on three main variables: demand, inventory, and production, where demand and inventory serve as input variables and production is the output computed using fuzzy rules. Each variable is defined within a fuzzy set, and the final production value is determined through defuzzification using the weighted average method. Data were collected through interviews with the owner of Toko Es Batu Genuk, covering production data over a 14-day period from April 4 to April 17, 2024. The results indicate that the implemented system achieved a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 1.97%, corresponding to an accuracy rate of 98.03%. A MAPE value below 10% demonstrates that the system can reliably determine the optimal production quantity of packaged ice, supporting accurate and efficient production planning. Keywords: Ice Production, Fuzzy Tsukamoto, Demand, Inventory, Production.
