Abstract

Determining the appropriate production quantity is crucial for a company's success, as it directly affects profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Jaya Vinere, a leading company in the wood processing industry—particularly in plywood manufacturing—faces the risk of overproduction or underproduction due to the absence of an accurate prediction system. This study proposes a web-based plywood production prediction system utilizing the Tsukamoto Fuzzy Method to help Jaya Vinere optimize its production process. The research data was obtained from documentation of sales records, production logs, and inventory data at Jaya Vinere in Wonosobo, covering 38 sales transactions from January 5 to March 25, 2024. With a test input of 1500 units in demand and 500 units in inventory, the manual prediction result was 569.1 units, while the system’s prediction result was 570.10 units. The model's Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) was 15.52%, with an accuracy rate of 84.58%, indicating that the plywood production prediction system at Jaya Vinere is relatively accurate in estimating actual values.
