Abstract

The healthcare service system at Community Health Center (Puskesmas) Rimbo Kedui still operates manually, resulting in long patient queues and extended waiting times, which can lead to dissatisfaction among patients. This study aims to develop a mobile-based queuing application as an innovative solution to address these issues. The research adopts the Agile Development approach, emphasizing iterative and incremental development. Data were collected through interviews with Puskesmas staff to analyze user needs and the current service process. These insights formed the foundation for prototype development, periodic user testing, and iterative refinement of the application. The application includes key features such as online registration, digital queuing, and electronic patient data management. The system’s implementation is expected to enhance service efficiency, reduce patient waiting time, and improve access to health information. The outcome of this research is a mobile-based queuing application that allows users to register for queues online without the need for prior physical presence at the Puskesmas. In conclusion, the use of a mobile application to manage patient queues online offers significant benefits in improving the performance and efficiency of healthcare services at Puskesmas Rimbo Kedui. Keywords: Mobile Application, Queuing System, Agile Development, Healthcare Service, Community Health Center.
