Abstract

Airsoft is a sport that simulates military, police, and tactical operations. However, public awareness of airsoft remains limited, and it is often mistakenly equated with air rifles or firearms, leading to misconceptions and negative perceptions. One solution to address this issue is the development of a web-based platform that provides comprehensive information and education about airsoft, including gameplay, rules, community introductions, and relevant legal regulations governing airsoft equipment in Indonesia. This system is designed to help the public gain a proper understanding of airsoft, foster positive interest in the hobby, and facilitate activity management within airsoft communities—particularly for Black Arrow Club, a Yogyakarta-based airsoft team affiliated with the national association, INASSOC. Established in February 2023, Black Arrow actively participates in airsoft events. The developed website includes several key features such as educational content on airsoft, basic rules, guidelines for carrying airsoft units, new member registration, profile editing, event schedules (training, competitions, unit engraving), and requests/downloads for official permits. This information system is expected to make airsoft more accessible and comprehensible to the public, encouraging legal and organized participation. For Black Arrow members, it also simplifies access to event details and membership administration, improving overall efficiency. Keywords: Airsoft, Black Arrow, INASSOC, Web, Military.
